Ansel von Brandenburg is a beautiful 8-week old German shepherd puppy with the most striking sable coat.  This fluffy boy could easily be your next ‘teddy bear’, based on both his adorable looks and his shy, cuddly temperament.  Ansel is in a loving foster home with his fur sister Emmi, who is ‘showing him the ropes’; he looks to her for courage and guidance.  Ansel is initially cautious in exploring the yard or initiating play with the other dogs in his foster home,  but will follow Emmi as she leads him on each new adventure.  You may find Ansel hiding out under a lounge chair or coffee table to clandestinely examine his territory, paws exposed so you know he’s there! He’ll playfully lead you on a chase, but once he’s in your arms he melts into a cuddle and commences non-stop puppy kisses.  He enthusiastically chases a ball and enjoys a good, savory chew toy.
